The R22 phase out has begun, with virgin R22 refrigerant banned in January 2010.
Now the clock is ticking to replace existing R22 refrigerant systems, before supplies of reprocessed R22 become too scarce for effective system maintenance, and ultimately before the total ban on R22 in 2015.
